 Public Notice:

2019-2020 Annual Reports are in & available at the Town Office.
Town elections and the town meeting are both coming soon. Please check the Upcoming Events page for details.
Due to the Covid-19 shutdown, the town audit report is not yet complete, and therefore is not in the annual report. There have been some questions about this, and hopefully, the guidelines from the Maine Municipal Town Meetings and Elections manual will put these concerns to ease.
Once the audit report is complete, it will be made available.

Property maps: one of the goals of the new website was to integrate with a geographical information system currently under development, in order to provide the best local property data for Burlington residents, current and future. However, due to two main issues, the development of that system has been delayed.

1. The property data, as currently contained in it's historical form, is incompatible with the new system. The software used to maintain this data dates back to 2003. There's been a lot of progress to resolve this problem and a solution is close at hand.

2. The Covid-19 shut down slowed communications with the developer, and also delayed progress on restructuring the data into an acceptable format.

As a temporary measure, the original property maps have been placed as a selection option under the 'About' menu of the website.

Very shortly, all Public Notices and and General Town News will be appearing on this page.
